Its buyer beware when Selina purchases a new house but Catwoman is much more interested in the treasure that lies beneath the property!
It's strange yet ironic that Nocenti ends her run with an issue that focuses solely on someone who isn't Selina. Perhaps Nocenti had a new story arc in mind, but was pulled from the title before getting to pen a more conclusive story. Nocenti leaves behind a long run of assorted detours in Selina's life: pulling Gotham PD strings, working at a suicide hotline, exploring Gotham Underground, and taking on strange villains until Batman comes to rescue her. Perhaps the essence of who Selina Kyle is was lost in her own stories. With Sholly Fisch writing September's Catwoman: Futures End #1 and October's Catwoman #35 debuting writer Genevieve Valentine, Selina's next chapter looks promising and exciting. Read Full Review

Catwoman #34 is a completely weak and underwhelming finale to Nocenti's Catwoman run. The story was unengaging, Catwoman barely did anything in the actual issue, the writing was a mess, and the artwork was just forgettable and drab. And, fittingly, that's how Nocenti's entire run ends. It started with an god-awful origin story and ended falling flat on its face and breaking its nose. I'd wager a guess that most people will end up remembering this run as easily the worst comic book run of the New 52. Read Full Review
The end of CATWOMAN #34 has a tease for futures end and “The death of Selina Kyle!” and honestly that's something I wish would come sooner so this comic could be put to rest. Read Full Review
