Catwoman #72 tries to establish and strengthen the relationship between the Belov family and Selina, but it may be a case of too little too late. A lack of a strong response from Selina on crossing paths with the Belovs again, as well as the continued ignorance of the multiple sub-plots, makes this issue weaker than it could have been. This is practically unreadable. It is quite evident that Torunn doesn't understand the Catwoman character. Catwoman should stay in Gotham, having her galavanting around Europe dilutes the character. I like Torunn's Red Sonja, but even that got nonsensical by the end. This is a drop for me. It's sad that no one can write Catwoman or Wonder Woman right now.
