Wanted for last issue's shocking murder, Catwoman finds herself caught between two rival gangs with all of Rome up for grabs.
To be honest, Im enjoying this story a lot more than Loeb and Sales last Batman work on Dark Victory. Its faster moving, isnt taking its time in developing an over-complicated mystery, and is giving us a good few action scenes into the mix as well as managing to be funny and sexy (sometimes at the same time). Its a real pleasure to explore the creative teams take on Catwoman a little more thoroughly, and any possible fears that she couldnt support her own story after her fairly inconsequential Dark Victory appearances prove to be unfounded. A smart, witty and beautifully-rendered comic which isnt as laborious to read in monthly instalments as one of Loebs longer-lasting arcs. Well worth a read. Read Full Review
The art is the standout. I like the character dynamics between Catwoman, the Blond and The Riddler but there is something a bit surface level and we still haven't really found the reason for being here.
While the story itself has yet to pick up the art is beautiful and Selina’s narration is perfect
7.5/10 is probably being generous, but the art bumped it up significantly. Writing-wise, this was...not great. The dialogue is pretty bad, and Catwoman's internal monologues are not nearly as compelling as Batman's in the other Long Halloween installments.
