Overall, this is a mixed issue and sets up some interesting things for the future. It's really cool that the Adam Strange Future Quest aspect of the issue takes place post both of their stories. That's really smart and makes this one shot feel that much more important. But, the story itself doesn't bring a lot that's new or different, like their series before did. It also feels like it sets up something for the future, which Top Cat does as well. This special is a fun romp that does everything it's supposed to do. For fans of Jonny Quest, seeing Jonny and Team Quest appear in such a classic approach is a real treat. There really doesn't seem to be much reason for this story. It doesn't illuminate anything for any of the characters and the resolution to the story doesn't illicit any emotion. I think this is a good idea for a story that just didn't find itself. Read Full Review

I was looking forward to the Top Hat backup going in, but I got kind of queasy when I found out that Dan DiDio was writing it. It was set up for his own series that I had no idea he was getting in the first place, and involved Batman for some reason. It wasn't very good in my opinion. Read Full Review

My score for this review is based solely off my interest in Adam Strange and this being the continuation of the Death of Hawkman........... so keep that in mind because I haven't been reading Future Quest and have very little interest in the characters of this property. So with that in mind, I really didn't care for this Annual because it did little for the Adam Strange character except make him come off really useless for the majority of this issue and really just stands as a stop off and single adventure for our hero before he makes his way back to the DC Universe. The art wasn't bad, but it wasn't something that I really enjoyed either and hope that this will at least do something for Future Quest fans because it didn't do anything for me. Read Full Review

I rather enjoyed this. I didn't read the Death of Hawkman miniseries, because it honestly didn't look very good, but I'm a pretty big Adam Strange fan, and I thought this was an enjoyable little romp. I hope it leads into a new Adam Strange book detailing his adventures in the Multiverse on his way to being reunited with Alanna. The Top Cat backup was pretty cool, and I like the idea for his book.

This one was the most boring of the crossovers for me. I think it has to do with me not being fully caught up with both storylines that it diverges from, but not much happens overall. I feel like it is just a catch up issue that is one of the more unnecessary crossovers to get.
