I understand that this book is targeted at young girls who love the DC Superhero Girls shorts and merchandise and if you know anyone who fits that bill, buy them this book immediatley. However, there is fun to be had by anyone who loves a cute little adventure with adorable versions of their favorite characters. What I'm saying is, if you or anyone you love likes to smile, get them this book. Now, when will DC give us a Superhero Girls Digital First comic so we can enjoy our gals each and every week?!? "DC Super Hero Girls: Finals Crisis" is downright fun. There's almost no way you can pick this up and not fall in love with these new characterizations. It'll bring a smile to even the most jaded comic book fans and is a must buy for young girls looking to get into comic books. It's a beautifully drawn book with happiness radiating from it. This isn't a deep layered graphic novel, it's not supposed to be. This is geared towards younger kids who'll enjoy the characters and style and simplistic story. Still, I found it all enjoyable and can't wait to read and see more of it all. If there's a little super hero in your life, this is an absolute must buy for them. If you're an adult, it's one you'll want to check out to see what the kids are so excited about. Read Full Review

DC Super Hero Girls: Finals Crisisworks well as a gateway comic for the parent who's asking where to get a child started on comics (For the record, there isanother issue coming, but not until November.). Overall, the book is cute and will probably keep the attention of a kid, but is going to be dull and feel a little forced for any adult reading it on their own. Taken as individual stories, the book excels as an introduction to comics and to each of the Super Hero Girls but when read cover-to-cover, it becomes trite and grating. The art is cartoony, and the way the story works out made me wonder why they didn't just make this story into a TV show, since that's what it feels like anyway. Read Full Review
