I wish this had been the first issue. After a bold, radical first act, this title definitely deserves a second chance. Flash has always been my favorite, but too often he's written in a way that feels predictable. I'm excited to see someone finally take an ambitious approach. The first act wasn’t perfect, but it experimented—now I can see Spurrier hitting a stride that blends the familiar with something fresh. The art is fantastic, too. Give this a chance, and let the creative team push the boundaries.
maybe its because I'm comparing to last few story arcs where it was incomprehensible mess. But this was a MASSIVE step up from the previous story because the language is easier to understand and no longer any cosmic meta physical babble. I think if people want to read the flash, this is the issue and just disregard the previous issues.
