This was not at all what I expected, but leave it to this dynamite team to leave any expectations in the dust and break new ground, and you can absolutely sign me up for more. Read Full Review

    Geek Dad - Ray Goldfield

There are some brilliant elements here, but also a lot of exposition and so many characters it's hard for many to get focus. When things slow down a little, it's much better and shows elements of the Flash family we all know and love. Read Full Review

    Weird Science - Gabe Hernandez

The Flash #13 brings the mind-bending but ultimately ill-conceived attempt at cosmic horror to a close with lazy shortcuts and cheap tugs at your heartstrings to wave all the problems of reality away. If this ending was Spurrier's plan all along, somebody at DC should have told him to rethink his plan. At least the art is great, and the arc is finally over. Read Full Review

This was...certainly something. I thought it was fine, but I still wish I was able to understand everything better. I did appreciate the messaging relating to family here, but everything else was just super weird to me. Hopefully the next arc, under the new All In initiative, can be a good turning point for this run.

So glad this impenetrable mess of a story is over after one year and 13 issues. Spurrier did not stick the landing with this one. When you close the cover after finishing the story, you're left to ponder what the story was even about, and why did it matter at all?!

Well that was a mess of an anti climactic ending with “God” giving birth and all of this was contractions. Like really. Ok that was a lot of smarty pants esoteric jargon to get to that inane villain. Glad it’s finally over. It took me twice as long to read then issues in a month. Whew. I think I had contractions reading it and that would be something as I don’t have the body parts but it sure made my head feel like it.
