Grayson and Helena must battle their old foes, the Fist of Cain!
Overall this issue was filled with lots of action, as well as interesting story points that I hope get explored as this book develops. Read Full Review
Really can't wait to see what's coming next, given some of the big revelations here and the ending of this issue. Read Full Review
Grayson #7 is a good issue, though not quite as good as previous ones. However, Grayson at its weakest is still leagues above most comics. The writing is still very strong, the story is good outside of some minor hiccups, and the art is good despite being fill-in work. Still completely worth your time checking out, so go get it. Like I said, every Dick Grayson fan of any kind should read this book. Just don't start with this issue. That advice is not only because you won't know what the heck is going on, but this is the series weakest issue so far. The story and art both felt off, but the issue still showed the reader how great Dick is as a hero and a man. Grayson is still my favorite book, just not this issue. Read Full Review
Overall:The first outright misstep with this book, there were still a few great moments that made it worth reading. Hopefully things will return to the normal level of excellence next month, and if you're a new reader and this is your first issue, go back and start at the beginning. Trust me, it's worth it. Mooney's art on this issue is getting better and better as he does more of these issues. Overall, while it's still a great read, I have the feeling that it's really going to be tough to have some kind of satisfying grand finale going into convergence as promised. But, this book hasn't let me down yet.
Step down in quality in terms of story for this series, but still a decent issue.
