Harley's been to some very strange places in her bizarre life...but an alternate-reality time-travel trip is a new one even for her! Somehow, some way, Harley's managed to find herself in the world of the Bombshells, a universe where female heroes have taken to the battlefield of World War II! And most unbelievably of all...she's gonna meet herself?! Our heads hurt already.

Comedy aside,Harley's Little Black Book #4 is actually a pretty good World War II espionage thriller. Like the previous three issues, it's a pretty dense read and feels like you have a short graphic novel in your hands. But at least it seemsas though anyone can pick it up and enjoy it. I had confidence going in, but I didn't know that I would enjoy it as much as I did. Read Full Review

Harley's Little Black Book has yet to disappoint. These free-wheeling fantasies of Harley intersecting with everyone else in the DCU (and in this particular case, an alternate universe of the DCU) make the most of Harley's interactions with key cameo characters. And if a one Harley isn't enough for you, this one's got two! A far-fetched premise nonetheless leads to a rather satisfying sequence of lots of bad people getting their comeuppance. Not quite as gory as your usual Harley fare, but still gratifying, particularly for the combined efforts of Tucci, Linsner, and Flaviano (with captivating color from Mounts), pick this one up if you hate Hitler. That should be everybody, right? Read Full Review

While I'm not a Bombshells reader, this story makes that world seem like a wild ride. I really enjoyed this trip to the past. I would give this issue a good rating, but there is one tiny detail that gives it a slight bump. The Bombshells wait for the signal to attack the castle on the rooftop of Dar Cooke Haus. A closeup of the team repeats a portion of the name Dar Cooke a reference to the late great Darwyn Cooke known for such classic comics as The New Frontier and Trail of the Catwoman. Reminding me of one of my favorite creators is worth at least half a Batarang in my book. Read Full Review

A densely-layered story full of intrigue anddownright hilarious moments that suffers from uneven artwork. The extantBombshell Harley Quinn being in the same space as, uh, our Harley Quinn createsa temporal problem that I'm sure will have repercussions in future comics.Palmiotti and Conner never throw anything away, they're like pack rats. HarleyQuinn will be eating an ice cream cone in one issue, and then half a year laterit will turn out that she ate Proty II by accident. I'm telling you. You gottawatch everything with these guys.
