In this penultimate chapter, Sinestro's evil machinations result in the corruption of another hero and the deaths of even more.
INJUSTICE: YEAR TWO #23 is a jaw-dropper. This volume has mostly utilized a slow-burn approach and tends to incorporate only one big development per issue, but this one goes all out and kept me engaged the entire time. It's not just building up to one big cliffhanger that'll leave you stunned -- it's bringing its A game the entire ride. Blew my mind. I thought Ganthet was a badass in this issue until Dinah came along.
Alright, this has been bugging me this entire run. Sinestro is so unconvincing, yet everyone falls for him. It's honestly really bugging me now. If not for Dinah and all of that, this chapter wouldn't be getting the score it is.
