What's this? There's an entire new group of Metal Men, except they're not metal...or men...but...animals?! After the Metal Men left Magnus for Nth Metal Men, Magnus knew the next team he created had to be loyal-and what's more loyal than animals, right? All this, plus the new Metal Men face the Missile Men in their first epic battle since their conception.
Metal Men #7 is surely a lot of fun. The art is just spectacular. The concepts are high. Dido doesn't mess around. This seems to be turning a corner into being something bigger about what it means to be human. That is what the whole series is of course, but the introduction of the animals is really smart. While I know that we all wanted to see what was going to happen with the Nth Metal Man and Platinum after last issue (at least I did), we move away from that here to showcase Dr. Magnus' new team of heroes now that he's trying to move on after his previous team abandoned him. Yeah, it's not the direction I was hoping we were going to go, but this issue was still a lot of fun and the new characters were a hoot. The art is amazing as always and I can't help but keep loving this series. Read Full Review
