That Lobo story was a pretty good use of the character. The Mongul one is fine too, but I don't imagine it will be very memorable.

This is a really fun story, with some pretty solid political criticisms, but at the same time I am glad this in no way canon because of Lex's character.

This was a really fun series, more enjoyable than Adventures of the Super Sons, my only problem with it is how convoluted it kind of becomes because of the rule/non-rule(?) of the scroll.

I really don't want to rain on anyone's parade but this isn't a book that really deserves an average 10. I get what Ram V is doing here, he's trying to copy Ewing's Immortal Hulk with the Green being the Below-Place. And while it is an interesting idea, the execution is pretty different and not in a good way, the dialogue especially is pretty bad. It has potential but I don't think it will evolve more

I haven't read Alan Moore's Swamp Thing, I've heard good things about it and I plan to read it one day. I don't see what that has to do with what I said. I said that Ram V is copying here Ewing's whole Immortal Hulk shtick. What's so "rich" about that?

Swift Planet - May 8, 2021

It was because Immortal Hulk was a book in very similar vein to Swamp Thing already. Don't get me wrong, I think they're both great and I wouldn't call Immortal Hulk a copy, but they use similar tones and themes.

I read this because I like Si Spurrier. However it was a bit too ingrained in the saga of Krakoa for me to enjoy. I haven't been keeping up with the rest of the X-men titles, but even then I don't feel like I'm missing much context. The important part seems to be the knowledge that the mutants can be resurrected from a previous point, which I do know. The Patchwork Man is what's new to me. Anyway, more
