So another fantastic issue that had me grinning. How can you not smile at the Supermobile trouncing Vandal Savage? Read Full Review

Challenge of the Super Sons is in a great place. The story is moving at a steady, interesting pace, and Tomasi is consistently keeping it fun and fresh by upping the tension in believable ways. This is a fun story featuring Damian and Jon at their very best: as best friends and getting into tons of trouble by saving the day. If you haven't picked it up yet I'm seriously suggesting you do. While I typically prefer things a bit more linear in projects like this, Tomasi has had some fun in showing off the present day storyline and hinting at the object of things before taking us to the past. It's not my favorite move but if it allowed the art teams to be structured this way, where Raynor nailed the modern perfectly and Corona gets to tackle the past and work such strikingly excellent designs with Savage and Faust, then I'm all for it. I'm looking forward to seeing more of what Rora has to offer here in the past – are the boys going to be competitive over her? – and to see just how well they handle different time periods as neither is really mature enough to think things through properly, which we see from Jon's first questions here. Definitely excited for more. Read Full Review

Savage Fate:Every time, I read Challenge of the Super Sons by Peter J. Tomasi, I know that I will be reading an entertaining story. Challenge of the Super Sons #4 did not fail to deliver the entertainment value of the characters. The way these two go at it, could put their fathers to shame. Whereas I have a love/hate issue with these dynamics, this issue kind of skipped a beat by utilizing the same formula for the narrative thus far. With that being said, lets dive into what made this comic an alright issue. Read Full Review

The Batman Universe - Hannan Mouawad Jul 15, 2021

I love the well-written dynamic between Superboy and Robin and the befuddlement of the Justice League members as random events happen to them. The banter, character relationships, and comedic insanity of this story are still culminating in a really fun read, continuing to showcase one more story of the adventures of the Super Sons.
