Wilson is doing a great job of establishing just how powerful Ivy is, and the risk this poses to her at times. It feels like this series is fleshing her out, but also giving readers a better perspective of just how complex a plant elemental's powers and life would actually be. Read Full Review

I’ve ilked Croc for a long time now, especially in his Gotham Academy incarnation, so getting a couple of issues of him that reinforce him as an interesting character (on top of Absolute Batman’s turn) definitely works well. I like him stepping up to help Ivy, and to see Ivy realize that she made herself feel a little too invulnerable and open to some really big manipulations. Undine’s an open-ended story point to play with here that I do hope comes back because it’s like another version of Ivy that goes in a different direction than she has – and without the same kind of history. It’s a solid issue with some great visuals that seeds some potential things to deal with in the future. Read Full Review
