DC Comics News - Derek McNeil Nov 17, 2019

Ridley's Super Sons is a story that can be enjoyed by readers of any age, whether they have any knowledge of the regular DCU comics or not. It definitely would be a good way to introduce younger readers to superheroes. But be sure to start with The Polarshield Project and before following it up with The Foxglove Mission. The Batman Universe - Joshua Lapin-Bertone Oct 29, 2019

Another victory for DC Zoom. The latest chapter in the Super Sons saga is a classic young adult adventure that will thrill middle school-aged readers, and remind adult fans of the feeling they had back when they were kids. Read Full Review

This volume improves upon Candace ten fold opening up the character and revealing a lot more about her. That's an improvement on the first volume. This volume also has stronger superhero elements throughout and should please fans of superhero comics in general. That said, the plot and pace can feel slow and the story can feel muddled. It's a great read for younger readers, but for the older set I'd skip it. Read Full Review

This feels like a strange superhero soap"which I guess it is, given the less-than six month lag time between volumes. A third installment is already previewed in the back of the book, meaning this story is likely to continue indefinitely. An odd choice to be DC Zoom's only ongoing series. Read Full Review

Forces Of Geek - Lenny Schwartz Nov 8, 2019

The art was serviceable, but also very bland. There is a little bit of hope at the end of the book with a semi cliffhanger. Hopefully the next book is better than this one. The potential is there and let us hope that it is realized next time. Read Full Review
