Well, that rescue mission didn't go exactly as plannedand things have only gotten worse for Superboy, as N.O.W.H.E.R.E.'s plans for him and the Teen Titans take a deadly turn! If he wants to keep his head, he's gonna have to take down another dangerous young metahuman for them: the bruiser once known as Grunge!

    And I felt like I was dropped into this story. Since I am not getting Titans I probably will only read the even chapters of this arc ... and that's never fun. I hope we get RB Silva back for the entire issue next month. Read Full Review

    You know, this issue wasn't that bad. If you would have taken out some of the VERY long 1850's Smallville stuff, I'd have scored this issue even higher. Even Simon Valentine: Boy Genius didn't bug me here like he usually does... I guess the impending end of the DCU has me feeling more kindly towards the DC comic books I'm reading, since in a few months, I won't be reading any... Read Full Review

    The biggest disappointment, and this has been stated before, is that Superboy held such promise on inception, and was reviewed very, very favourably. Now, it seems that the first issue was an alternate universe mishap and the proper universe has settled in. A complete and utter disappointment. Read Full Review

    Iban Coello and RB Silva fortunately manage to draw a beautiful looking book. Their character work is pretty great although at times the perspective feels a bit off. Superboy kicking Grunge in the neck looks especially strange. Still, Superboy is, in general, a good looking comic book. The colors are perfect. The inking is smooth and clean. It's nice to look at. Unfortunately, comic books should be nice to look at and fun to read. Superboy feels more like a chore when it comes to the latter. Read Full Review
