I almost wonder if this book would have worked better as a novel, with some drawings instead of a comic. I feel like Jordan has a personal story to tell here and this was just the wrong venue. I really loved Annie as a character and ultimately, this is her book and that ending, well, it really could have been something with her. I would have loved to see her continue on, but I understand why this book must come to an end. Read Full Review
An unsatisfying conclusion to slow build up, the "final" issue of curse of brimstone really under delivers. Now that the volume, or possibly the entire series, is finished its safe to say I would not bother with this book again. The only redeeming thing about this book is the art, but it's not worth it to have to sit through the strangely romantic undertone between the twin protagonists.
Found all the villain monologing extremely tedious. This is the second New Age of Heroes title to tease a sequel at the end. Why would anyone want that?
