Weekly Comic Book Review - Loukas Jan 13, 2015

It's fair to regard this weekly series as a glass half full. When it manages to state its guiding themes and goals, it speaks with power and interest. All too often, however, we have awkward pauses and disconnected plots. This issue stumbles after the important thematic moment of the last installment. AIPT - Jordan Richards Jan 7, 2015

This issue was surprising very slow and uneventful. Seriously, it doesn't feel like any of the stories made any progress or had any sort of surprise to them. That really hasn't happened in a while and honestly makes the issue feel incredibly boring. Sure, the writing and characterization isn't bad here at all, but such a strange step back in the story progression. Perhaps it is the calm before the storm, given the setup we have seen, but maybe a bit more progression to have something happen would have been appreciated. Read Full Review

I'm not really digging any of the stories this week because..........well they're pretty weak.  Not much going on here except for a lot of our heroes having down time and them not knowing what to do with it.  The art too wasn't as good as it's been and I hate saying that because I usually love Scot Eaton's work.  All in all, not really a memorable issue.   Read Full Review

    Batman-News - Jesse Kennedy Jan 9, 2015

It's a slow week for Futures End. Nothing much happens in these pages to justify the $2.99 price tag. Some people may enjoy the Bat scenes or even the dark magic characters, but it did nothing for me. It is bland with a pinchof bitter. Read Full Review
