It is another good chapter in theSuperman Doomedcrossover. It pushes the story along, threading important themes in Bruce's inner monologue. This issue does a great job of making us feel like the Doomsday virus is a threat as well as tugging on our emotional ties to Superman via our love for Bruce. Artwork is slightly disjointed but it only detracts from the story minimally.

This issue had its…issues. The artwork wasn't particularly for my taste and the story seemed a little pushed. There is one thing to expect when reading a Greg PakBatman/Supermanstory: there will be heart. This is what, in the end, redeems this issue. I hope to see how Kaiyo plays out in the next chapter hitting shelves next week.

Batman/Supermanpicks up where it left off many months ago. For some, it may be a bit of a problem understanding all that's happened if previous issues aren't consulted. For others who loved the first arc, it will be a happy continuation in the study of what makes Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent "tick". I'm mostly on board with this issue and am nervously curious with what will come next month, quarter, or year" whenever #14 comes out.

It's not a very strong issue. I'm not standing on my chair applauding this comic, nor am I ripping it up and throwing it in the trash. I'm along for Greg Pak's ride. If you haven't enjoyed things previously, I doubt you'll enjoy it now. There is subtlety here that can be missed if one's not careful. My gut says this series is still a go.

This is not a buy. As readers spending our hard-earned money, we want to purchase a good comic. At the end of the day it doesn't matter if there are legitimate excuses (editorial, scheduling, artist changes), if the end product does not satisfy, then we don't want it. This issue concludes an arc that doesn't justify the $3.99 per issue price tag no matter how much anyone wanted it to, including myself.

I am thrilled to see Syaf's artwork. I like the overall direction this arc looks like it's taking us. I feel like the last quarter of the book had more potential than was recognized, at least in the writing department, though the rest of the book made up for it. It's a good first chapter in a new story arc. I'd recommend it.

This is one of the single best issues of Batman/Superman I've read. I can't speak for the future, but if what we read (and see) here is any indication of what's to come, then this will wind up being a superb arc for this series. I'm tickled to be reading it.

If you want details right now about the events that take place during the Earth 2 war, then this will disappoint. Like the rest of theseFutures EndMonth titles, the is little furthering of a “future” plot. It asks more questions than it answers. The beauty of this issue, though, is that you don't have to have all the answers to feel the tension between Bruce and Clark. Reading it with wide eyes and not expecting to have the world turned upside down will make this comic more enjoyable.

Black silhouette of Batman, knowledgeable Frankenstein, threatening Bruce, and an “eye-smashing” reveal… This issue does what the solicitations told us it would do. We're all pretty excited to see what will happen inRobin Rises: Omegaand that's where this is heading. It's a decent issue but not a must-buy.

A very strong character-oriented issue, Batman & Robin #33 outshines Robin Rises: Omega in my opinion in terms of value and substance. A large supporting cast helps shed light on both Bruce's intentions and the bigger Apokolips/Darkseid threat. There isn't much to complain about at all here, and in fact, very much to get excited about. I'm ready for next month!

It's a talkative issue, but one that's interesting nonetheless. The interactions between some of our favorite characters are handled well here. For all the other comics out there that seem to never go anywhere,this issue furthers a good story at a decent pace. Because of our love of the characters, it draws us in. The hype is building, and I like it thus far.

A good issue that balances action with set-up for future issues. We are getting our feet wet (or burned) in Apokolips, learning who's who, motivations, and interweaving tension. It's almost like a certain white, powdery, illegal substance you snort: it gives you what you want for the moment, but as soon as it's gone you want more. Just please, dear God, don't kill the dog.

Hellbat Bruce beats the mess out of a ton of folks. He is angry. He is powerful. Despite a few oddities in the story, this issue does what it needs to do to further the Robin Rises saga and ramp up the excitement for the conflict to come.

Another serene issue of Batman and Robin, this issue is sure to bring out the pensive musings of the introspective heart"jk. No, this issue is for those who want to see individuals have both "the crap" and "the living daylights" beat out of them. Want to know if Damian comes back to life and you haven't any access to social media, DC's website, or the final ads in the back of every other comic this week? This is for you. It's fun, though. Enjoy!

AsFutures Endtie-ins go, this one's above average. It has great artwork, some fun "whoa" moments, a sprinkle of heart, and a staple of tradition. It isn't monumental but it should provide you and your friends with some good talking points going into the rest ofFutures Endas well asBatman and Robin,and what more could you ask for? I say thumbs up.

A good start to a new series, it has all the makings of a good espionage thriller. Secret agency versus secret heroes versus greater evil: it's pretty good stuff. If you are like me, you didn't buy this comic because you thought how cool it would be to read a spy comic: you bought it because you love Dick Grayson. It's still good thriller. I can't wait to see what happens between all the different factions in this story, and I can't wait to see it even more because of Dick Grayson.

A good formula is carving itself in the pages ofGrayson.A quart of mission, two cups of mystery, a tablespoon of big themes, and a dash of Batman has the potential for something truly special. At this point, I don't think anyone would call it a hit yet, but it has my attention. There are a few fumbles here and there but nothing to lose your mind over. If you were worried this series had nothing to do with Batman or Dick's past life, may this issue be a little reassuring for you.

This is an incredibly strong comic through and through. The writing is top notch. It's fun. It's shocking. The artworklooks terrific. If you're reading the series as a whole it really adds to the overall story. Tension is brewing. We care about the characters. Hot topic issues are addressed. Guys, it's a fantastic issue, and I highly recommend it.

While on the surface it's a slight departure from previous issues in form, this issue retainsthat high level of quality we're coming to expect from this series. Overall, it's a smart series that does not skimp on the action. The whole creative team are firing on all cylinders for what has become one of my favorite books to read.

Though this issue doesn't move mountains, it does draw beautiful lines in the sand. Heartfelt and meaningful, this issue is a great read. Recommended.

It's a neat issue to inspect and follow closely. Not quite as ground-breaking as the Futures End one-shot, but still an enjoyable read.

If other Futures End one-shots are half as good as this one, we are in for a treat. The depth of the issue is incredible. The technical aspect of storytelling is done beautifully. It is a showcase in quality writing. We see something here that we don't often see in mainstream comics: change and I can't recommend this issue enough.

Our heroes are faced with the threat" of a nice Lex Luthor. Johns does all but convince us of Luthor's real intentions thanks to good use of the Lasso of Truth. This issue looks great. It's a good continuation of what came before and it's a good teaser for what is to come.

I loved this issue. It had crazy tension and actually some payoff. This chapter moved the story along effectively and the artwork was great.Justice League is a good read right now so don't miss out.

Johns does a good job "birthing" the Doom Patrol into the picture. It's interesting, though not wildly action-filled. Bruce isn't featured at all this issue, so don't get you're hopes up. It's still a solid issue that furthers the story line, and you can't go wrong here. Read it, ask questions, and enjoy yourself.

Not a bad issue. After the delays, I've found myself a little more distant coming back to this title, but am glad to be reading it again. If we can get the next issue soon I will be really happy because all that's happening with this series is very interesting and has good potential.

The artwork suffers in this issue and drags the story down with it. Some neat reveals and character advancements take place but really I'm left waiting to be infected with the Amazo Virus next month or whenever that issue might make it to the shelves. One could easily pass on this issue.

Terrific start to a new story arc. Lex/Bruce tensions are still building. Jessica Cruz is sort of put on the back burner, but there will be more of that to come I'm sure. We see a little bit of everyone in this one. Luthor's speech hits close to home for the real world regarding the Ebola crisis. This isn't a direct PSA, because it's good writing for good writing's sake: it just so happens to have a good message. Excellent prologue. Throughly excited.

With fantastic art and interesting story lines, The Amazo Virus arc is off to a terrific start. There is enough going on in the issue to justify the $3.99 price tag in my mind. I'm curious to see where Johns takes the Trinity+Lex in future issues. Thumbs up.

Geoff Johns knows how to pace a story. Fabok is a glorious monster when it comes to this incredible art. A fantastic second chapter in this series, I highly recommend.

This is not exactly what I wanted fromJustice LeagueduringFutures Endmonth. I could appreciate Lemire's love for the characters, but I feel like it's somewhat out of place in these pages. It isn't an incredibly flawed story; it just doesn't blow me away.

It's an exciting and emotional issue. I'm sorry not to see Kyle Higgin's run continue, but this happens to be a great prelude to Grayson. If you are looking forward to the former Boy Wonder's change of roles, this will encourage you. If you are saying, "No, no, no!" just give it a try. You might like it.

Essentially, you don't have to read this issue to know what happens. You already know. As much as I don't want to promote DC's money grab or terrible promotion department, I enjoyed this issue. It has heart, yet stays fun. It has depth, yet stays light. It's a good end to a fantastical arc with one of the classiest/coolestfinal splash pages I've seen in a while.

This issue will be what you make it. All the elements of action, heart, and epic-ness are here. Decide now that you want to enjoy a good Batman comic that costs $4.99 and you will enjoy it. True, this issue doesn't push the story much further, but remember: sometimes a comic is what you make it. I, for one, enjoyed this it.

These stories that won't continue or mostly likely won't matter in the future are a by-product of Futures End Month. This particular story, while not poorly written or drawn, only satisfies if it's going to continue. In my opinion, though this issue is a complete "thought", it is not a true one-shot. It depends on future issues to be cared about. It stinks that a decent reboot had to take this type of non-meaningful and un-hyping stop into a fruitless tie-in. I don't, however, blame it on Futures End completely as I still think there could have been something of substance here despite this foray into the future.

With a fresh start, the Teen Titans are back. Good writing and amazing art combines to form a fantastic #1 issue. I have to admit, the series reboot wasn't something I'd looked forward to reading. Boy, was I off. I really enjoyed this issue. For $2.99 I give this two thumbs up.

It has its flaws, some of which are purely subjective. For the most part we are treated to a deeper understanding of a few characters and I enjoyed that. This feels like a proactive set-up for future issues. If you love the Teen Titans and enjoy the artwork of Kenneth Rocafort, then I doubt you will close this comic with a frown.

There is little development in the characters. Most of this issue feels like a set-up for the story to come rather than an enjoying read for right now. To continue the series you will want topick it up, but it is not 100% necessary.

Here's an opportunity for Teen Titans to turn itself around. As much as I'm not a big fan of this individual issue, it does set the seriesup for some interesting and slightly complex dynamics in the future.

It's a fairly simple story that will actually have you scratching your head by the time you finish. The series takes another step forward in the Manchester Black story line as well as introducing some new characters. It's not an urgent read, but you won't want to miss this if you plan on following the series in the future.

It's tough grading these weekly comics. On the one hand, we are being asked to pay $2.99 for each comic so we should expect to get something out of it. On the other hand, it isa weekly comic so it's going to pose more questions than it answers for the sake of furthering the story down the line. Is this a must-buy? No. Are you going to be kicking yourself for shelling out your hard-earned cash for this issue? I doubt it. But this is a marathon: not every issue is spectacular and the series may read better (and cheaper?) once it's collected in a TPB. Also, a little hype goes a long way.

It's a weekly comic. If you can afford it, I'm sure it will make for a nice in-depth story if you read each and every issue. If you can't, well then you might be able to get by without it. The artwork isn't given much chance to shine, however, there is plenty attention to detail. It is a slow issue that leaves me wanting to know what's going on with Tim, Terry, and Frankenstein.

It's picked up the pace over the last issue. Intriguing pieces of the puzzle are being put together for the reader's enjoyment. Artwork is solid overall. This is chapter you could get by without having read, but I doubt you'd want to skip it.

The story is progressing with only a few lulls. The whole issue isn't firing on all cylinders but there are a couple cool moments you'll want to check out. The mystery nuggets are numerous (What is that? Who is she? Where are they?) and the series continues to plow forward.

There isn't much going on this issue. I'm struggling to keep justify buying each issue. The problem with so many narratives in a 20 page comic is that nothing gets the attention it needs. Any issue of Batman: Black and White is so much more interesting than this; but that series isn't limited to telling one cohesive story. It's a trade off. Then again buying a comic is a trade off: my money for that comic. So unless you've got to see it for yourself (and I'm kinda one of those) you could pass on this issue.

Now that I've calmed down about the snail pace I thought the series was moving, I'm enjoying each morsel so much better. It helps that the artwork was cohesive, subtle, and exciting throughout. This installment didn't leave me with buyer's remorse that I've had to combat in times past. I'm becoming vested in the characters and the things that are happening to them are starting to matter to me. I'm looking forward to next week's release.

I loved the art in this issue. It was clean, had a good sense of direction, and offered faces with expression that didn't look goofy. Good job Lopresti, Thibert and Hi Fi. As far as story goes, we're headed forward slowly. Seeing Superman was nice. I personally wouldn't liked to see more Tim/Terry interaction. We have more characters to not quite understand this issue. Ah, but it's building tension like a weekly comic has to…right?

I'm beating a dead horse when I say this, but it's a slow going comic. Maybe pull a month's worth of these comics and read them all in one sitting. This might alleviate some of the “nothing seems to happen this issue” blues. I feel like each issue consists of six different teaser trailers. I'm dying for substance. Purchase if you want a complete collection. You might be missing some information, but not a ton from one missed issue. This might be the week to take break if you need one.

It's a step up from last week on its own merit, and that's not just me trying to convince myself I'm not throwing my money away. Really good artwork, particularly on those spread pages. The middle sections left me frustrated and it really drug down the arbitrary score, but the issue started and ended very strong. This week the series is looking better overall.

This issue isn't terrible. Some stuff happens in this issue that furthers the story. Some of it is enjoyable to read and it's all pleasing to the eye. I didn't quite "get" each section but other sections shined. Remember, with our scoring system a "5" is average. It's not a failing score.

This issue has a decent amount of action. Some of the stories move further along than others, but they all mostly move forward. It wasn't a bore to read but it wasn't like I couldn't wait to get my hands on a copy either. It's above the standard for Futures Endthus far,and it's a decent chapter overall. I'm content with this issue.

It's another issue that is easily forgettable. It simply serves to remind us of things we already know and gives us very little to further the story.

It's an issue that actually provides some answers. Some of the sections actually seem like they belong in the same comic together, while others are just forgettable. It's easy to be a bright candle when the room is really, really dark. This issue shines in the darkness that has beenFutures End.

For all the crap I've givenFutures End both deservedly and undeservedly, this issue pays off in a way that says,"Listen readers. You have hung in there for quite some time. Here's a bone with some meat on it to chew. You deserve it." The artwork is terrific. The reveals are quite something, even if they only ask more questions than they answer. Just bask in it and don't be so critical when you read it. Enjoy it, because this much forward action may or may not happen again for a while. Here's hoping for more issues like this one.

There are a couple good nuggets in this issue but nothing to go wet your pants over. The plot is continually getting thicker with each issue, though I wish it would happen quicker. This being the start ofFutures Endmonth, I thought this would have been a better comic but I can't complain when I look at the series as a whole.

If more issues ofFutures Endwere like this, I'd be a much happier person. There is nothing life-changing here: it's just a forward moving issue all around. Several story lines will hinge on this issue in the future I'm sure. I'm really excited for upcoming issues and that's really what this series needs: excitement.

Important plot details are given in this newest chapter ofFutures End.Iloveevery time the sections go thirty-five years in the future, and that part doesn't disappoint here. We've been on a decent high for a little bit now. There's just too many interesting story lines now that there shouldn't be a dull moment in upcoming issues at all, but only time will tell.

This is a different issue then we've seen before. It's one huge exposition that reads less like a boring explanation and more like a tale that your grandfather might relay about his experience in the past. If you have any concern about what's been going on with Earth 2 andFutures End,then pick this issue up. It's satisfying. And I'm pumped about the battle(s) to come.

I enjoyed this issue overall. We're back in the familiar saddle of many stories in few pages, but it felt like it was less crammed. It's not very exposition heavy for a Futures End issue, so that's a plus. Also, there are several reveals and interesting plot points to find in these pages. Keep 'em coming.

There are a lot of real story lines moving along in this issue. If this issue were a sandwich, it would be ham and mayonnaise on some crazy bread your wife bought because the package used words like “organic” and “cage-free”. I'm not sure how the bread was “cage-free” just as I'm not sure about the strangeness in some of this comic, but I'm pretty satisfied when I'm done with it. Next time, I hope there's cheese and maybe some chips.

There is enough material and backstory that has been laid down that it is hard not to give the reader something substantial to find in these issues. Everything seems to be interesting which is a good thing. I don't have buyers remorse about the past several issues and I'm happily looking forward to more. This one's a solid addition to the story.

One of the most solid issues through and through, #25 gets my highest score for this series to date. Zircher's artwork coupled with the writing and plotting of Azzarello, Giffen, Jurgens, and Lemire makes for a good read. It is completely worth $2.99.

As a build-up issue, it fares well. We've read so many boring issues that were meant to prepare the story for a later payoff that this one seems almostupward trending despite its lack of out-and-out action. My own hype about seeing Batman's appearance let me down a little (okay a lot) but on the whole, it's a pretty above average leading-up-to-the-action-at-a-later-time issue. It gets an overall thumbs up in my book.

I'm happy with the pace this weekly comic is moving. This issue provides a tantalizing confrontation that you're going to want to know more about, a promise of a huge battle to come, and a train wreck situation from which you won't be able to look away when it happens. When reading the series as a whole, this issue is a worthy addition.

I don't need huge consequences in order to appreciate a comic, nor do I need “blow me away” art. Unfortunately, this issue brings neither to the table. If this comic were food, it would be ice cream that's sat in a bowl on the kitchen counter for three hours and is now all melted into some aerated warm creamy un-goodness. It wasn't going to be nutritional, but it could have been fun to eat. This issue wasn't gonna move mountains but it could have been fun to look at.

How can you complain when you get a full story cover-to-cover in this series? It's a testament to the path this series has taken, that it can pile layer upon layer of background stories and come out with such a straightforward issue and the reader leave feeling satisfied. I enjoyed it.

While not the worst issue ofFutures EndI've read,at this point I expect much, much morefrom issues focusing solely on one story line. Some rather large plot points are made in this issue which makes it at least meaningful, but I didn't enjoy it very much. So, in the spirit of Thanksgiving: I'm thankful the issue is not a waste.

It's back to form for the series with this issue. Nothing too grand. Nothing too above average. It's kind of nice having the multiple story lines back in this issue. I guess it's like having a bunch of friends with no real close ones. When you get inevitably bored with one, another comes along. Except in this case, one of them is a big blue bear that goes boom.

While it doesn't move mountains, well, it doesn't move sand castles either. If you're curious about what's gonna happen in Futures End, by all means pick this up. You won'twant to miss it. But also, if you don't really care about it, maybe don't waste your money.

The pacing sucks. A few characters take steps forward in their development, while most of the other story lines remain stagnant. This issue looks great, however, I don't believe it's a must-read.

I put together a "build it yourself" Arkham City Batman with my eight-year-old nephew last night. In the middle of finding all the tiny pieces and doing all these mundane steps he exclaimed, "I just want it to be finished so I can play with it!" In the middle of all the tiring story lines and with the excruciatingly slow speed this series is moving, I feel the same as he did. Let's move on with it.

It's a good issue provides more than the average amount of excitement and heart, especially for Futures End. Give me more issues like this and I'm a happy camper, but this series' track record of giving us multiple decent issues in a row is very poor. Here's hoping!

It's a slow week for Futures End. Nothing much happens in these pages to justify the $2.99 price tag. Some people may enjoy the Bat scenes or even the dark magic characters, but it did nothing for me. It is bland with a pinchof bitter.

It's your standard Futures End fare. Things happen in this comic that I'm hoping will pay off sooner rather than later. It's not altogether awful, but I also don't feel good about it when I finish reading it. It's like, I wish I had beer goggles on for this comic always: I'm sure it'd be hot. Alas, I am sober and stuck with this issuebagged and boarded in my box,asking me what I want for breakfast. Sigh.

Unless you need every issue, are exceedingly rich, or are a close relative to someone on the creative team, I think you should pass on this issue. It's not worth $2.99 in my book.

It's not the most exciting read, but the promise of looming danger makes it not feel like a total waste. There are far too many problems with plot, motivations, and pacing in this series. To really enjoy it, I believe your best bet is to not think about it too hard.

This is a good place to pick up this series if you haven't been completely turned away from it by now. The "big bad" of Futures End is finally attacking and I'm really kind of excited, but not so much that I'm even thinking of getting my hopes up. No, if the next issue is bad, I'll revoke any good sentiments I held about this one. Good artwork regardless, though!

Futures End is starting to deliver on the "This is the End" hype from many moons ago. It doesn't explain itself, and I'm okay with that. This is actually an interesting read, and at the very least, it's an issue that makes me glad to be picking next week's issue up.

It's another exciting issue of Futures End. If you've even halfway thought about picking up this series before, now is the time to do it. For a Futures End issue, this is highly recommended.

It's not the hardest-hitting issue ever, but it certainly is above average for Futures End. I'm almost certain this series cannot slow down after this. If it does, I'm going to rip every page of the past 40-something issues into tiny littlepieces and mail it to DC with a letter requesting a refund. Either that, or sell it on eBay.

It's a must-read. It's mostly very well drawn, inked and colored. The writing could be a little less amateur, and it provides a halfway satisfying crossover of story lines.

Its form is back to the standard Futures End issue. Some sections are excellent, whereas others are forgettable. The book is still trying to be mysterious to set up for future issues, which sucks because I feel like at this point it should be throwing down with no holds barred. Let's bump the boredom and stick to the heart of the Frankenstein section or the progression of a main story line with Brother Eye.

I'm overly hopeful for a good conclusion with this series. I can't judge what's going to happen by this one issue, but in a perfect world, I'd feel like this was leading up to something awesome. Unfortunately, it feels like its going to lead to a bust. Here's hoping for something incredible in the next two issues.

I can't believe this is the second-to-last issue of the series and it's not one of the best issues I've read. This should be amazing. Perhaps the fact that it's ending I am being harsh, but I think at least some of this is justified. Why is this not crazy action-filled and look amazing? Here's hoping for a good finish.

As a final issue, it does what it was meant to do: make you spend money. The entire 49 issue series is/was a setup for something else. For me, I wish it was actually good in and of itself, but it's not. A prequel for what will come doesn't have to be disjointed and unsatisfying. It can lead readers to the next big event or story and still make themfeel like what happened actually mattered. For me, it was a huge waste.
