I have to say that Justice League has been amazing since the Forever Evil event. This is really the first time that the Justice League has come across actually desperate while still leaving enough mystery to have fans searching each panel and line of dialogue for answers. And lets not forget the art! The whole issue is an exercise in apocalypse couture, taking dismal shades and muted colors and putting them effectively into a world tha tis coming apart at the seems. This is a really great issue of Justice League.  I wasn't completely on board when this story line began last month, but this issue certainly made me a believer in Geoff Johns' fever dream that is the Amazo Virus.  The highlight for me was all the character work and dialog that Johns' used between Superman and Batman and with Luthor's monologues, but even if that isn't for you, there is plenty to like about this issue.  Go check it out and get your sick on as you continue this Amazo Virus adventure. Geoff Johns and Jason Fabok continue to deliver a strong Justice League storyline anchored by a clever new take on Amazo and the unknown quantity that is Lex Luthor. Gritty with house color palette (which I could take or leave) but with slightly over-average art makes this Justice League romp a continued narrative that's at the least intriguing and actually gives Diana something to do too in the midst of Superman and Batman's continued sausage-fest (I do like the humor here between them, despite the tone there are quite a few funny quips to keep you entertained). Justice League #37, while a good issue, is an issue that is rather light on story and feels a bit too decompressed in areas. The writing, characterization, and artwork are all very good though and do elevate it, but the comic could have benefitted from a bit more story. Justice League kills it once again (no surprise there!). Geoff and the rest of the team on this arc know this is a different direction than most Justice League stories and they are traversing it with caution, passion, and attention. One cant ask for more. The way they are treating the classic Amazo in this manner gives it such a unique style and makes for an engaging storyline. If you have already jumped on board for issue one then I'm sure this is going to satisfy. If on the other hand you are new to this, you'll end up like me and feel lost in this world, especially after reading Teen Titans where everything seems dandy in the DCU. "The Amazo Virus" is an uncommon battle for the Justice League as the three most dynamic members of the team are left to fight a foe they cannot truly punch. That doesn't keep them from trading blows with Patient Zero, but Zero is not the villain of this piece, he's merely the embodiment of the predicament. This is a daring move for Johns and crew, but a welcome one as the Justice League is forced to work beyond their comfort level. The end of "Justice League" #37 illuminates their predicament and is certain to leave readers looking forward to more from Johns, Fabok, Anderson and Mangual. Read Full Review

Good story progressing the Amazo storyline. I don't like that the Trinity are the only ones who can help, though.

Really loved Fabok's art on this issue.

Johns has always been conservative when it comes to storytelling for Justice League and it's more of the same this issue. Fabok's pencils are gorgeous and his Wonder Woman is still better drawn than the recent new direction art by Finch. I'm enjoying this run but we'll see if we get some twists now that Batman is about to go critical.

The artwork is the true star of this issue, absolutely stunning interiors by Fabok and Anderson. The story is pretty stretched out, not much happens, but there is cool action and a killer cliffhanger. It's a little unfortunate that Snyder's Batman is also doing a virus outbreak story, and released in the same week too, oops.
