OverallA solid opening issue, which sets the ball rolling on another bunch of adventures for Bettie Page. I'm looking forward to seeing where David Avallone will take this in future issues. I really enjoyed how we got a brief callback to the Halloween issue, which was released last month and I really appreciated how fast we got into the adventure. I look forward to seeing what Bettie thinks of the English dessert known as Spotted Dick. If indeed she has time for such trivial pursuits. Read Full Review

Bettie Page has been a really fun property for me in the last couple of years and I'm ecstatic to see it back. It has a certain quality and life about it that just makes it a blast to watch play out and David Avallone is on top of his game here as we get lots of setup, nods to the past, and great lines. Julius Ohta delivers some fantastic artwork that allows Ellie Wright to bring to life even more with the color work. It's just strong throughout and I can't wait to see more of this story and these characters. Read Full Review
Bettie Page Vol. 2 #1 is a smashing success, taking Bettie Page across the pond to hunt down a royal-napping U.F.O. Chris Avellone infuses just enough alien encounter to keep the issue faced paced, while also crafting an interesting backstory. Julius Ohta complements Avellone's script with detailed panels that capture Bettie Page's one of a kind, spy style. I'm looking forward to getting to the bottom of this caper with Bettie Page! Overall, this current volume detailing the work of Miss Page during the time she was employed by U.S. Government stands as testament to her indomitable spirit. Such things are needed to further shed light on the happenings of the past. Read Full Review
Property?!?! Bettie Page was a real flesh and blood person, not some fap toy. You may be cool with this nonsense, but I am not and you know dammmm well she would not be having this either. Shame on u.
