What if you could predict when and where Godzilla would appear? What if you knew of the perfect opportunity to pull off the heist of the century? Jai is a young man who knows two things: A heist needs a good distraction, and there's no distraction like Godzilla. So, when Jai discovers Godzilla responds to specific energy signals he can send into the atmosphere, he creates the perfect opportunity to stage high-profile heists in the middle of Godzilla attacks. But these heists put Jai on the radar of some very dangerous men, men who want Jai to work with them to pull off the most dangerous job the world has ever seen!

Godzilla: Heist crosses the worlds of street-level and epic scope stories and is one of the most entertaining comics I've read this year with some solid social commentary too. Read Full Review

Overall, Godzilla: The Heist is an enjoyable, if somewhat flawed, entry into the Godzilla comic lineup. The art is textured and immersive, the colors are stellar, and while the writing has its moments, it ultimately falls into familiar, uninspired territory. If you're a Godzilla fan or just love a good monster-meets-heist concept, it's worth a lookbut temper your expectations. Read Full Review

Godzilla: Heist #1 is a truly unique Godzilla story, mixing the absolute destruction the King of Monsters is known for with a high-stakes robbery. If this is the level of creativity IDW is going for with its new Godzilla books, it's sure to pull in plenty of new fans. Read Full Review
