The Power Rangers are no stranger to otherworldly team-ups, and they've already had two fantastic crossovers with the DC and TMNT universes. Now you can add Godzilla to the mix, and it looks to follow the winning formula that has made their previous dimensional escapades such entertaining adventures. Read Full Review

If you're a fan of Godzilla? Check this out. If you're a fan of Power Rangers? Check this out. If you only enjoy super-serious comics about realistic dinosaurs fighting realistic dragons and you hate alien witches saying "take me to your leader" or men in green spandex with pronounced bulges then I don't want to know you. Let's be honest, all we are really looking for with these books is a whole lot of fan service, and that's exactly what we got here. Straightforward plot, a little exposition, but mainly good guys fighting bad guys fighting massive forces of nature. Bunn and Williams give you what you want. It is of, course, all tremendous fun and impossible not to enjoy. I could only enjoy it more if Godzuki shows up. Read Full Review

Godzilla vs. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #1 is an entertaining debut. It has the moments you want and will get fans of the properties excited for what comes next. It's also rather predictable in the beats it hits. Hopefully, what's to come is a bit less so. Read Full Review
If you saw any of the old Godzilla movies before the original series I'm sure you were reminded of them back in those days. I was. It was a little bit before I learned much of Power rangers was originally Japanese, though I suspected a lot of those Megazord/monster battles were at least filmed overseas.
Seeing them clash is an event almost 30 years in coming for me. It's off to a good start, and I expect it to be pretty good as it develops.
Pretty fun issue
The artwork is fantastic and Rita's character is particularly enjoyable. Plot-wise, it doesn't rise far beyond any other typical Power Rangers plot.
