Comics: The Gathering - Nathan Koffler Apr 11, 2018

This issue revealed to me that this isn't a generic media tie-in comic book series. This team came to amaze us and it has officially amazed me. It is full of drama, horror, and sadness which makes an incredible all-ages horror comic book. Everything in this issue is written and illustrated beautifully. I was entertained from the first page to the last and I think that you will be too. Read Full Review

Horror DNA - James Ferguson Apr 17, 2018

Where Download and Die! excels is with the personal teenage drama among Mitra and her friends.  It's real.  Writer Jen Vaughn perfectly captures these genuine feelings that we've all been through.  The phone brings out the worst inner thoughts that Mitra could be thinking and beats up her self-esteem at a time when it is most vulnerable.  As a result, she doesn't realize how much it has affected her.  This relatability heightens the tension in the book.  The scares are greater, as we're so invested in Mitra and her life.   Goosebumps: Download and Die! shows just how great all-ages comics can be.  The series literally works for everyone, tugging on the emotional hardships of teenagers that we've all experienced to make a very personal, terrifying read. Comic Bastards - Garrett Hanneken Apr 11, 2018

Goosebumps: Download and Die! still succeeds in creating an authentic mood for young teenagers, but it would appear the comic is saving the monsters for its last issue. I can only hope that the finale is filled to the brim with the creatures that this comic has set up. Read Full Review

Word Of The Nerd - Brent Jackson Apr 10, 2018

Goosebumps: Download and Die has picked up steam with issue#2. Mitra's new mysterious phone is starting to take her over and bad things begin to happen. Will she getrid of her phone to save her friendship, or is it the only friend she needs now? This issue ramps up the spooky/creepy side of the story and has me very interested how the story isgoing to end. With one more issue to go, Mitra is in big trouble and, as we know in the Goosebumps world, we don't always get a happy ending! Read Full Review

The Brazen Bull - Charlie Chipman Apr 11, 2018

Goosebumps: Download and Die #2 continues to ramp up the weird factor. The premise and strong art makes this an issue that is intriguing and fun but is a little unsatisfying in exposing more of the main character...the phone from hell. Read Full Review
