Unleash The Fanboy - Daniel Alvarez Jan 31, 2015

Overall, a great start to the new arc. While I was disappointed that it's more about “Don't cut down the trees!” instead of being the sinister Everfree Forest story marketing made it out to be, it's nonetheless an entertaining read from beginning to end with engaging new characters. AiPT! - Jordan Richards Jan 27, 2015

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic #27 was a great issue and solid start to this small mini-arc. While I'm unsure how the environmental message will be handled in the second half, the writing and artwork were very strong and great. Plus, some of the bonus additions were nice in adding more to mythology of the MLP world. Fans will certainly enjoy this and hopefully this little adventure wraps up on a good note. Read Full Review

The artwork is definitely colourful and there is a lot of comedic value to be given to whoever draws Pinkie Pie as some of her most ridiculous faces would make a grown man howl with laughter. Make sure and pick up this issue as it is Part 1 of this story and you will miss it sorely if you go into the next issue and have no idea what on Earth is happening. Read Full Review
