Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #20 offers up an emotionally charged and action packed finale that yields a release that's nothing less than a crowd pleasing affair. Highly recommended. Read Full Review
While issue 20 may not be the best jumping on point for new readers it's still a great read, and well worth picking up if you have even a small interest in this series. Read Full Review
Although Honeycutt eventually hands himself over to Krang who makes his escape, the Turtles are able to save the King and Queen and make it home safely where Karai has been getting into some mischief of her own on Burnow Island involving some stolen mutigen (perhaps foreshadowing the introduction Rocksteady and Bebop). Worth a look. Read Full Review
I know I went a bit long on this one, but seeing as it's my first review on a title I plan on following, I hope you'll forgive me. I really like this series and despite the ups and downs in the art, the storyline and writing have been top-notch from the start. This is one of the more entertaining titles for me. If you haven't been reading it, you probably wouldn't want to start with this issue, but I would recommend picking up the next as I believe it will be more like an individual title, featuring pencils by Eastman himself. Needless to say, I'm going to be all over that issue, so check back here for the review next month! Read Full Review
Here we go with the final issue of this arc, we find the Turtles on the planet Neutrino fighting a war alongside the royal family against Krang and his Stone Soldier army. Mikey and Leo are engaged in a fierce battle with Krang himself as Raph and Don work with the people of Neutrino to end the battle. From start to finish this book is action packed and the story is exciting and fun, Eastman and Waltz are master of these characters. The colors by Pattison are out of this worldno pun intended. They are super vibrant and in your face. The art style is gritty and perfect for this book. As I have said before this series feels like the classic TMNT. This is a monthly I cant wait to find in my pull box. This is what they should be using for the new movie! Read Full Review
Lazy art aside, TMNT continues to be one of the best comics on the shelves today. Read Full Review
This issue is so below par with the previous issue in this arc, which is a shame, since its the big finale. Kevin Eastman and Tom Waltz completely redeemed themselves with some solid writing, only to fall flat on their faces in this issue. Lets hope that they can get some of that magic back. This series can be so good when firing on all cylinders. Read Full Review
Bates end this arc beautifully. Loved the Krang vs Leo scene as well as Krangs escape. Nice lil Krang story wrapped up with alot of well drawn action. Good stuff...
