"Leatherhead" Part 2! Mysterious intruders bring death and destruction to the new inhabitants of the Technodrome! Does Leatherhead know more than he's letting on? Who can the Turtles trust?
The reveal near the end of the issue was cool as well, although the potential twist at the end felt a little forced. Still, I trust Tom Waltz to spin this into an interesting new story thread. And even if it plays out in the most obvious manner, he's still given us a great setup going forward. In addition to Leatherhead's intriguing (and potentially terrifying) presence, a fascinating intersection of trust, safety, and ethics is playing out between turtles and their extraterrestrial counterparts. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #57 was an excellent continuation to the current story arc, as despite the big twist being predictable, it was handled perfectly. Add to this the engaging interaction between the Turtles and Utroms, and you're left with an engaging narrative that surely will leave readers eager for more. Read Full Review

Lots of action! The art was amazing!
The sewer interiors look freakin' incredible!
Part two was much better. Less jibber jabber and more progression of the story. Ill admit tho the turtles do move at a slow pace during certain arcs and this is one of the slower ones. Art again could justify all this issues faults.
the character depictions are spot on! and their and interactions with one another feel so natural. it plays out so cinematicly. it'd make for an amazing feature film or even animation.
the intense cliffhanger from last issue leads to a really intense murder mystery, as tensions run high between the groups. . . . .
the art is magnificent!!! it really pulls you into the story. and the dialog is TOP NOTCH as well! the characters are so believably real! this has the makings of another amazing story arc to look forward to!
i can't say enough good things about this series!
