"Invasion of the Triceratons" Part 2 of 5. The Invasion begins in earnest and an unspeakable alliance forms to counter it!
The artwork rang with the culture of its environment and I felt it. Continuing to love this story arc. Read Full Review
TMNT #77 shows why IDW's TMNT is one of the best ongoing comics on the shelves right now. It continues to build upon this world and, while not forgetting about its past, the creators are not afraid to make some dramatic changes that affect the characters for the long-term. Read Full Review
This is a good jump on point or a starting point to get back acquainted with the TCU (Turtle Comic Universe). We have Kevin Eastman working on the plotting and Tom Waltz who has a great sense of the Character voices. Splinter heading up the Foot Clan is a bit jarring, but definitely a cool twist. He has a cold ruthlessness that we are not accustomed to seeing. The story does lose a bit in the prior continuity, where it makes the assumptions that the reader has been keeping up, but the pacing to the action and the Classic Turtle banter are well worth the price on the cover. Enjoyable and the start of a promising Story Arc. Read Full Review
The art in this issue doesn't quite live up to the book's usual standard. Damian Cuceiro's work is a little loose and lacking in fine details. But that aside, this conflict is a great way to welcome tour heroes back to Earth. Read Full Review

Splinter you sneaky rat what are you planning?? Fun issue..More setup but it didnt feel like thats all it was. I love this artist! Good stuff
Splinter is breaking bad.
very happy to see an issue of the IDW Tmnt that actually has some dang Ninja Turtles in it!!!
the dialog in this issue was really well written, this iteration of Baxter Stockman is by far my favorite over any other! even Baxter from the Mirage comics.
i'm still getting used to the idea of the Triceratons being created of the Earth Dinosaurs and not being of Alien origin, plus more rational of beings and not the war-like conquerors they been in other versions.
we're finally seeing some payoff to Splinter being the Master of the Foot Clan, and i'm really happy to have been following TMNT:Universe to get the back-story of Splinter's new Chunin.
not a whole lot of action in this story, but t more
