Aside from that, however, it looks like Allor/Kuhn are one again on track to give us another fantastic TMNT miniseries. Just like Utron Empire, it's incredibly well written, beautifully drawn, and adds an impactful layer to the overall series' mythology. Add in some genuinely funny moments, and Mutanimals might end up being even better. Read Full Review

The Latest Pull - Scottie Rowland Mar 22, 2015

All in all, I wasn't sure if I was gonna like this run or not. The reason I chose it is because it has TMNT right in the title. While that may have been the reason for getting me in, the story is the reason I am staying. I would suggest this to anyone who has ever loved TMNT. Read Full Review

Geeked Out Nation - Ian Yoxon Mar 27, 2015

Despite my quarrels with the art, TMNT Mutanimals #2 is a fine comic. We explore what some the new characters are like and saw that the team is more than just Old Hob's followers. I think Kuhn needs to make sure he takes he time to get the designs for both the characters and backgrounds right before the next issue. Allor on the other hand knows how to make interesting characters and I really hope he continues writing them if the team ever gets another mini-series. Read Full Review

    GWW - Cory Anderson Mar 24, 2015

With a failed rescue attempt/failed raid on the Null corporation warehouses, almost all of the Mutanimals are captured. In the process, we are introduced to two more mutants that are also a blast from the TMNT original comics. The debate and internal struggle begins with the surviving members of the Mutanimals as well as the two newly introduced mutants, as to whether they should help rescue the captured mutants, or save themselves. This comic is setting up for a daring rescue and great character development in the next issue. I can't wait to see the mission to rescue the Mutanimals as well as any other mutants in captivity.
