Fortress of Solitude - Byron Hendricks Dec 20, 2013

As usual Mikey is a saving grace to this line of comics. His humour and one-liners are on point and he really manages to garner a chuckle out of any read. Whilst The Turtles are left battling a rather disappointing breed of new villain you cannot help but feel that this is a filler issue. This makes for a nice read to pass time but it is far from brilliant. Read Full Review

    Razorfine - Alan Rapp Dec 28, 2013

Memorable mostly for the characters interactions (such as Raphael literally poking the beast after being warned not to), and with plenty of action and Turtle hijinks, fans of the show should enjoy the foursome's latest adventure. Worth a look. Read Full Review

    All-Comic - Tyler Goulet Dec 17, 2013

Overall, this is a nice, quick read over in the New Animated Adventures universe of the Turtles. Even without seeing the show or reading the other issues its easy to jump in and just enjoy a good TMNT story. Pick it up if you get the chance because, really, who cant use a little more TMNT? All and all, it is hard to give a bad review to a comic that I do enjoy. It is high in action and brings that same fun from the show. But I also don't know how long I will last with enjoying these superficial stories. It doesn't add any detail that we don't already know from watching the show. For now, I do buy the occasional issue mostly because the splash pages are so sweet. I love rearranging all the comics I hang up and the Animated Adventures add some cute covers. Other than that, I can't see myself lasting much longer. Read Full Review
