Black Magick is becoming its own animal, and you can almost sense it stretching its legs as it prepares to take us on a journey. Where that journey will lead, Im not entirely sure, but Im all-in. The story is teasing and playing with the reader, and currently it feels like were at the precipice of something. What, I dont know, but the mix is there and the ratios seems to fit. This issue feels right and reads like temptation, Im enthusiastic for where it will lead. Read Full Review
I'm always intrigued by the passion and personality with which Rucka infuses his stories, and I'm really enjoying Black Magick as a whole, but I'd really like to see where he's going with this, and soon, especially to make up for the recent hiatus. Read Full Review

It's a bit of a struggle to get back into this series.
This series desperately needs a recap page. With long stretches between issues and with the very nature of cop procedurals, much is lost when the reader doesn't have the details of the case fresh in their mind.
