Bug Wars #6 is a fitting conclusion to the first arc of this epic story. Jason Aaron really delivers the action with the War of the Yard. The back-and-forth nature of the battle which at times feels like our hero wont succeed really makes for some great edge of your seat moments. Couple that with a tremendous tease at the end of the issue that sets up the follow up arc perfectly and you have a fantastic finish. Read Full Review

Great conclusion to the story. If there is never a Book Two, this was a satisfying end. The whole series was an adult take on Honey I Shrunk the Kids meets Lord of the Rings and I loved it. Maybe my favorite part was his dad's reaction after making an offer for the easy road. Great writing and art. Hope there's more soon.

The last episode of this first series of Bug Wars wasn’t exactly the finale that answers all questions, but since there will be a continuation, it doesn’t have to. Still, I expected more.

My final resume on Bug Wars: This was a fun and well executed series, even if the concept wasn‘t particularly new or exciting. I enjoyed Jason Aaron’s creative and heartfelt writing a lot and even warmed up to Mahmud Asrar, whose previous art for Marvel I tended to dislike. It seemed that he just needed a more personal project like Bug Wars to unleash his full talent.

I will definitely be back when Bug Wars continues.
