Extremity #7 is the start of the new and final arc of this series. After six issues we have been brought on an emotional journey that only continues to pull the reader in this Issue. Extremity still serves as a wonderful character study of how we react to grief and loss and what happens to us when we lose what we perceive as our defining characteristic. This continues to be one of, if not the best comics out right now and I still stand by my word if you can only buy one comic this week, buy Extremity (you can also pick up the first six issues in trade now to get caught up!). Extremity #7 is another step taken in Thea and Rollo's journey. They see new places, they meet important people, but above all they are understanding a world beyond their own. There is a sense of satisfaction from the direction we are heading in when these two staying with the Roto would have easily turned bland after some time. There is always more to be exposed with each issue. The world is larger and the stakes are higher and we barely know what any of this is really about and that is what makes Extremity so great. Extremity is a rich world, filled believable characters and motives. Things slow down a bit as the characters regain their footing, and we begin to see the new direction the book is taking. Some grey areas emerge from a story that has been black and white, thus far, giving us even more reasons to stick with the series. Read Full Review
