Awesome first issue with great art, dynamic fights, and intriguing characters. One of the best first issues in a while!
Strong start.
Very cool first issue. As others have said, mixing so many genres is difficult to pull off (first thing that comes to mind is Wild Wild West with Will Smith bleh) but so far so good. Asami's adherence to the Samurai code of ethics makes her an undeniable instant standout. How more
I'm willing to give it the benefit of the doubt. I really liked it up until the end. I'm just not sure if the twist is for me, but we will see.
I'm not a fan of this very stylized artwork. The characters are interesting, but I just have no idea what this is about. I'll be returning for the next issue to find out.
