WHO IS ? Baroness and Cover Girl are about to find out as they fight for their lives! Meanwhile, Clutch and Hound investigate Cobra's Energon weapons!
There's a pretty solid twist cliffhanger this issue that opens up all kinds of fun possibilities. The wait between issues always seems way too long, but it does allow for some intriguing speculating in terms of what Williamson and company have in store. Read Full Review
G.I Joe #9 is such a fun issue to read. Despite being only nine issues in and on only the second story arc, this world seems very fleshed out, with each issue so well planned out. Read Full Review

eception follows the Baroness everywhere she turns in this explosive chapter. Williamson cuts deeper into the past's emotional wounds. The art team delivers on maniacal plans of Major Bludd with fantastic panels. Just when you think the picture comes into focus, the creative team changes the game! Read Full Review
G.I. JOE #9 delivers a solid, action-packed chapter in the ongoing saga, proving that the Energon Universe is a force to be reckoned with. While the art could use a bit more polish and a bolder color scheme, the sharp writing, intriguing character dynamics, and non-stop action make this a worthwhile read for fans of G.I. Joe and the larger connected universe. It's not perfect, but it's a wild ride that keeps you hooked from start to finish. Read Full Review
GI Joe 9 by Joshua Williamson with art by Andrea Milana did not disappoint! This issue featured a fast paced story that was character focused and yet still tied into the bigger Energon tapestry. The page where Raptor gave his backstory normally would have me rolling my eyes - but somehow worked within pace of the story. Nice twist at the end - this is how you make comics that people keep coming back for! I have my own theory about the Baroness’s parents … I’ll keep those to myself so I don’t accidentally spoil anything. I highly recommend this book!
Another fun issue. Baroness teamed with Cover Girl is a good dynamic. I'm not sure who this Raptor guy is, but the entrance of Major Bludd was cool. I'm waiting for the Clutch/Hound story to develop. Great action and character development, which is going to make Baroness' turn to Cobra that much more dramatic.

Solid issue. I want Tom Reilly back though.
