Horror DNA - James Ferguson Mar 27, 2015

Goners is the kind of comic that I could see translate easily into a weekly TV show.  These first six issues are basically the pilot.  Granted, the things that Jacob Semahn and Jorge Corona packed this with would require an astronomical budget to produce.  Goners is a blend of action, adventure, horror, and good old-fashioned family drama.  It's about growing up.  It's about standing up for yourself.  It's about kicking ass. GWW - Enrique Rea Mar 25, 2015

It's as much an homage to the kid in all of us. I used to wrap a towel (against my mother's wishes) around my neck and hold a broomstick like a sword slaying imaginary dragons or wielding a stick like a lightsaber defeating the dark side. Goners is that adventure we always yearned for to save the world and become the hero in our mind. Read Full Review

One of the highlights ofGonersasa series is that Jacob Semahnand Jorge Corona remember how kids talkand reactat differentages. Semahn putsubtle touchesin Josiahand Zoe's dialogue with words like “stupider” reminding me of arguments with my siblings even if their situation is definitely more high stakes.Goners#6 is the final stages of the crucible that Josiahand Zoe have struggled through in thisarc, and Semahn ties up the threads of the Latimers' past with who theyare in the present to createa grand crescendo.Gonersisa coming ofage story, but with supernatural intrigue, badass monsters, and just enough gore and chills to make horror fans smile. All-Comic - Ian Stephen Mar 22, 2015

Image Comics can't do wrong. By giving creators a space to tell their own stories gives readers an assorted variety of titles and genres to pick from. Sometimes it seems like a daunting task to try to keep up with every Image series. Goners may be one of those series that readers overlooked or judged it by its appearance. Yet, Goners isn't a one note series, it has elements of every genre rolled into its narrative. Whether this is the end of the Latimer's tale or just the start of a new series, this run of Goners was a whole lot of fun to read. Read Full Review

Comic Bastards - Nina Bird Mar 25, 2015

This was a solid issue to wrap up the story. It was fast-paced, but wasn't overwhelming. There were some badass moments with and some feel-good moments to make it a proper ending. Read Full Review
