Home #5 is a wonderful ending to a great series. Some people may not like the cliffhanger, but it works both to build anticipation for what will (hopefully) be an upcoming sequel and to give readers what it feels like to not know what's going to happen next with someone's family. Anta and company have done a marvelous job with this series, and this ending is the icing on the cake. Go out and buy several copies, so it gets a sequel. Read Full Review
All in all, the finale to Home is a fitting end to the series and made me hopeful that Anta and Wieszczyk get a chance to tell another chapter of Juan's story, but even if they don't, they left us with a very excellent comic here. Read Full Review
'Home' concludes in a dramatic fashion, with one final showdown while giving its characters hope. What started as one nation's shameful cruel policies gave birth to heroes in a land that doesn't appreciate them. Anta presented a hard look at a very real issue, shone a light on it, and organically extracted a wonderful superhero story with a ton of potential. It ends far too soon. It feels like we go a bit off the rails when ICE is shooting automatic weapons and driving some sort of APC, but I suppose they did come to the scene expected to confront a super-powered individual, so it makes sense they'd come armed to the teeth in this world. The ending suggests that we're likely to see this story continue in the future.
