    Can you have a true nature verses nurture experiment when supernatural beings are interfering? Only 2 issues in, and I'm loving this. As the kids struggle with who and what they are, they're also trying to figure out what kind of people they want to be. With many eyes watching, and pushing buttons, they seem to keep surprising those around them. I can't wait to see them come more into their selves and become their own "people. Read Full Review

    So far, this title has been a pleasant surprise with new mysteries and more questions arising with each issue. This is shaping up to be potentially Ghost Machines sleeper title in 2025 as its hitting the right notes for the concept and making great use of its premise. Read Full Review

    Its still a bit difficult to tell what specific voice this particular series is going to end up with as it all moves forward into its third issue. Theres a lot of different directions that things could move in...lots of potential for some pretty serious problems as angel and demon continue to move forward. Its a bit of a challenge to get everything to come together and there are a lot of potential problems with the basic premise that threaten to turn it into something that might not be all that different from much of the rest of the supernatural coming-of-age type of contemporary fantasy that seems to litter the margins of popular culture.     HORNSBY & HALO #2 is an okay issue in terms of pace and action, but the main characters lack personality, and the chaotic action has a little too much chaos to follow. The central idea is a good one, but the execution of this series is, so far, lacking. Read Full Review
