The Maestro is dead, long live the Maestro! For William Little, being last in line for the throne didn't grant any exemptions from the brutality of Wizarding school, Hogwarts it wasn't.
Now, Willy's family is dead and he's the new Maestro, armed with the most powerful spell in creation, he has a few lessons of his own for the mad mages of his new magical kingdom. What could go wrong?
Maestros looks to be growing better with each issue and I look forward to Decembers Issue. Read Full Review
Maestros #2 is an entertaining chapter in this story. There were a lot of laugh-out-loud moments for me, and I particularly loved spotting all of the geeky references to pop culture that Willy makes. The plot thickens, as we are introduced to Lord Rygol, who heralds an even darker and more complex shift in the narrative. I'm looking forward to where this story will progress and how things will unfold for Willy. I recommend grabbing a copy and immersing yourself in this dark, twisted and downright funny tale. Skroce builds off of an impressive start by delivering another fantastic issue. While the issue may be a tad slower, the pace rally helps to flesh the main character out and make him more likable. The characters are interesting, the art is great to look at, and the jokes land well. Read Full Review
I'm reading quite a few comic books right now and this one is without question the most fun. Not only is the art absolutely gorgeous but it's also hilarious and has a truly unique play on fantasy. Do yourself a favor and pick it up -- you won't regret it. Read Full Review
The second issue in this title picks up right where one left off. A thoroughly enjoyable, one of a kind experience with all the right magic going for it. Will sinks deeper into his new role much to the chagrin of the realm's elite. And deeper into the sights of yet unseen problems. Read Full Review
Maestros #2 is some good shit. Strong writing and beautiful art make this book a thoroughly enjoyable read. Like with the first issue I did not know what to expect going into this book. All I do know is that I was not expecting to like it as much as I did. Read Full Review
This comic is shocking, twisted, and often hilarious. Maestros takes the tired concept of wizardry and injects a heavy bit of insanity. Steve Skroce has himself a major winner. Read Full Review
Brilliant read. I was unsure of this series going in but it's looking to be one of the best series of the year. Definitely pick this up if you're a fan of fantasy and magic. This issue deals mainly with social justice.
Amazing art, colors, and story! I recommend it highly.
