Maggie's band of nomads try to pick themselves up after a break in the storm. Meanwhile, Abel and the fox discover the forest they've been wandering in has been watching.
As I'm sure is evidenced in all that I've said above, Middlewest continues to be an emotional and thought provoking piece of art I couldn't put down. The characters continue to feel shockingly real and I am filled with a compulsion to continue to take this journey with them, no matter how many tears I shed along the way. Read Full Review
Theres a clever balance to the issue that series well. The complexity of relations within the ensemble that could lead to a number of different directions over the course of the next few issues. The social and atmospheric ends of the world that Young and Coronas world captures the imagination and runs with it. No one else is doing anything quite like this on the comic book rack.
