Horror DNA - James Ferguson Jul 2, 2020

I realize that I've been rather vague about what actually happens in Nailbiter Returns #2. That is intentional, as this is a mystery. You should come at this completely blind and pick through the clues yourself without having them spoiled for you. I can assure you that this comic is absolutely incredible from beginning to end. Horror is at its core and it certainly excels at that, while also playing with elements of thrillers, mystery, and comedy. It's a great blend that works incredibly well. Read Full Review

The series is fantastic and having fun with tropes and expectations with it being a sequel to a horror story. Like the best, Nailbiter Returns #2 plays with things keeping the readers on their toes and not expecting what to happen next. It creates an excitement and energy about it that's a hell of a lot of fun to read and experience. It's a sequel I didn't know I wanted but two issues in, beyond happy it's here. Read Full Review

    ComicBook.com - Patrick Cavanaugh Jul 1, 2020

Part of what made the debut issue of this sequel series so compelling is that you didn't need much knowledge about its predecessor to get caught up on the state of things, with this issue helping to fill the gaps on how the notorious Nailbiter could still be alive. In that regard, the narrative lulls a bit given the amount of exposition being delivered, but it still manages to keep the reader engaged with a number of gruesome panels depicting heinous crimes.
