It's awesome being a vampire-as long as you wear a mask and pretend you're a superhero like high school student Danny Garcia and his two best friends. The only trouble is when you realize there's OTHER vampires out there too, and they're going to murder your ass for blowing their cover. NOTE THE PRICE!

This series has got better with each issue and it started well. I'm enjoying the character development and the ideas Millar is exploring with this cool premise. If you became a vampire, would you use your powers for good or evil?
Juanan Ramirez's art is worth shouting out, too. I like the way he draws the three main characters when they're using their vampiric abilities. His action scenes are fluid and dynamic.
The characters are extremely tropey. You have the geek crushing on the hot girl. The best friend's crush on the main character, and the fat guy that the bully picks on. You don't get more generic than that. This is Mark Millar's version of Spider-Man. Their poses are the same, sticking to the walls, and leaping in exactly the same action style. Even their masks look like Spider-Man. Now that we had a villain enter the story, this looks like it might get better.
Please Millar kill the main characters, give us a nice payoff. Ramirez art is solid. I'm going to keep buying it just because of the low cover price and the visuals
