Edwyn is rattled and on his heels with his world turned upside-down-and that's bad news for the men holding the love of his life hostage. Heads are about to roll, literally, and the blood is going to flow.

    Comic Bastards - Jonathan Edwards

I'll be honest. Though I did really like the first issue, I was slightly anxious of Plastic potentially taking a sudden turn into inferior territory with this one. But, it absolutely didn't. I am so fucking sold on this series, and I will read all five God damn issues. It's still very true that this book isn't for everyone given the gore, dark tone, and subject matter. However, I do recommend this. If you haven't read the first issue, I'd urge you to find it and pick it up first, or, if necessary, wait for the trade. Because, you either want to miss all of this one or absolutely none of it. Read Full Review

    Horror DNA - James Ferguson

You've seen revenge stories, some more brutal than others. Plastic is perhaps the most demented, twisted revenge story to date. It's bloody, creepy, and filled with dark humor making it a fun read that is well worth your time. Read Full Review

Issue #2 of Plastic is wonderfully absurd, and it makes good on the promises of Issue #1. This is another must-read. Read Full Review

The dark sense of humor and absolute insanity persists as weget another great issue that ticks up the crazy while under delivering on thecreepy. Although we don't get enough clarification for my liking we do get alittle while making it clear why answers may be a little hard to come by. Read Full Review

I want to like this book so badly! But much like the first there just isn't anything to really hook the reader. The plot is paper thin with absolutely no backstory on any of the characters. I don't know why we are actually supposed to care about Edwyn other than he doesn't seem "as" bad as the rest of the cast. They still haven't said he is actually a serial killer at any point (although we sort of see it this issue). There is absolutely nothing given about the relationship between him and Virginia other than he is crazy enough to think she is real. There are some good action scenes with plenty of gore but outside of that didn't find hardly anything for me. I'll give this one more issue to see if we can finally get some backstory of why we more
