Plastic is the most inventive and enjoyable serial killer story in years. Edwyn finds new and increasingly crazy ways to kill people all in an effort to track down his sweet Virginia. He's clearly deranged and needs some professional help. Is it wrong that I want him to get that help after he's brutally murdered these bad guys? With one issue left to go, it is a bit saddening to know that a series as good as Plastic will be over by this time next month. However, Im used to more than that from this comic. Its Edwyn killing bad guys that are way worse than him (and the author goes out of his way to make the bad guys really unlikable). Its nothing new. I feel like with only five issues to tell a story, each one should really strive to do something different, to make each chapter in the short journey memorable. This one doesnt do that.
