But Why Tho? - Max Funkey Oct 24, 2019

I've been loving every issue of this new creative team's work and Rat Queens #19 is no different. The action is great, the humor is crass and wonderful, and everyone is killing it. Every time I think I have a grasp on the story it takes a new shift to make things interesting again. Rat Queens is here to stay and I cannot wait to read the next issue. Read Full Review

The Brazen Bull - Dave Robbins Oct 23, 2019

The Rat Queens have never been in more trouble, and when it looks like there is no hope for them, things get even worse. Sure, I have no doubt they will get out of this one, but at what cost? These days, there always seems to be a great price to pay. Read Full Review

Word Of The Nerd - Cat Wyatt Oct 23, 2019

Rat Queens #19 is perhaps the most emotional and shocking issue of the series. Name an emotion, and there's a good chance this issue is going to compel you to feel that way at some point. It does make me wonder what we can expect from the next issue! Read Full Review

Comic Crusaders - Lucas Fashina Oct 23, 2019

Rat Queens is guilty pleasure that on the surface allows one to escape into a a world full of colorful female protagonist, that aren't afraid to crack the occasional crude joke, but subversively it is an exercise into a process of political sensitization that forces its readers through the on page confrontations to , contemplate, and assess their own political views. Big Comic Page - Craig Neilson-Adams Oct 23, 2019

Another cracking issue from this impressively rejuvenated series then, and in all honesty, its probably worth the cover price for Hannahs opening rant alone. Trust me, its a thing of foul-mouthed beauty. Read Full Review

This series had been trending down for a while until the current team took over. Even then, it's been a little shaky.

This is the issue where everything finally came together in a big way.

The King Gary plot has been good so far, and this one took it to the next level.

For the first time in months (years?) I'm anticipating the next issue.
