Rat Queens #3 delivers another hilarious dose of shenanigans and questing. With wonderful illustrations, clever writing, filled with witty jokes and hilarious banter, this is one story that keeps on entertaining. Whilst I focused a lot on the funny side of this issue, I should also mention that I'm curious and looking forward to the larger narrative relating to the mysterious cult. I'm interested in discovering more about this side of the story and seeing where the next big adventure will take out beloved Queens. Read Full Review
Rat Queens #3 is yet another enjoyable yarn, with the hilarious antics of the Queens being a joy to read. Not only do we get some fun, quirky dialogue, with some interesting interactions, but we also get some wonderful tongue in cheek moments, with the stunning art of Owen Gieni complementing this perfectly. Rat Queens #3 was all about the adventure and entertainment value of life with this group. Three issues in and this is once again a book that I would not hesitate to recommend to any fan of fantasy RPGs, or DnD. Each issue continues to pick up with traction and hopefully keeps capitalizing on all these new opportunities for characters, quests, and unique battles. Read Full Review

The Queens are taking a breather this time. A little humor, a little drama, but nothing memorable. To be fair, though, anything after the Giant Monster Lizard Bird is bound to be a letdown. Read Full Review
By the end of the issue, things seem to back on track, with the return of an old nemesis, but the trip there isn't really worth it. This comic is *talky*. And *emotional*. And *low on action*. And the funny beats are all in the hands of someone other than Hannah, Violet, Betty, and the increasingly silent Dee. The whole issue feels like it doesn't quite fit with the rest of the series. Maybe it is set up for the next big thing? I hope so. Read Full Review
