A well thought out and pretty nuanced look into both sides of the upcoming human/robot war. Also, cute cats. Read Full Review

There isn't anything here that is going to entice folks to pay attention to the 2020 line, but there are creative ideas from the three creative teams present, giving some life to this small corner of the Marvel Universe. Read Full Review

The entire anthology is good however there really isn't much to it that would make me want to give it a second read. "Curiosity" was a story similar to the X-Men comic I reported on recently with minimal dialog and it worked for both stories. "Roads Taken!" seemed like it missed the mark when it came to its story and lost me a little bit. The middle story, "Robots of Conviction", did have a decent story though it felt very holier than thou and I feel it meant to hit that. I felt as if it was good but missed something. The artwork in all stories were of great quality and did bring light to the narratives. Overall, a good combo comic but could have brought more to the arc. Read Full Review

Like the rest of the "Iron Man 2020" event thus far, this Iron Age one shot is a mixed bag. Read Full Review

A very unnecessary anthology that got progressively better as it went on. The first Machine Man story felt extremely dated, just like Tom DeFalco's work in 2020 Machine Man. It's not worth reading. The second story with Alkhema was actually my favorite. It was well written, in my opinion! I hope Christopher Cantwell continues making his mark on the Marvel universe. The Doctor Shapiro story was cute and had nice art, but it was incredibly unnecessary and not worth paying for.

Prelude: So far Rescue 2020 has been passable for a tie-in to the Iron Man 2020 event. Let's see how Iron Age goes. The Good: Second story had some interesting parts to it. The Bad: I found the first story rather boring. I do have a clue of what I read for the third story. Conclusion: Some good, lots of bad but I don't know why I read this in the first place.

This collection has the misfortune of leading off with a Tom DeFalco strip that just extends his pointless exploration of Machine Man's old backstory. The other strips are more enjoyable, but still quite skippable. It's an event anthology -- always a dumping ground for mediocrity.

The first story was pointless. The second one was pretty okay. The third one was cute but pointless.
