SOMETHING WICKED IS COMING THEIR WAY... The USCSS Boreas has been infiltrated! A chest-burster is wreaking havoc on base, leaving a trail of gore and eviscerated bodies in its wake. With their numbers dwindling, will the Weyland-Yutani security team be able to track the alien down before it becomes something even more deadly? Alien #3 is a book that embraces the franchise's relationship with fear. It recognizes the many ways of scaring people through Xenomorphs and Alien stories. Read Full Review
Broccardo delivers some beautifully detailed and visually intense art on every page of the issue. I love the art style and how it complements the tone, tension and suspense of the story. Read Full Review
There's a lot going on in this installment as we get to the halfway mark but it is also hitting plenty of familiar points. The marines are getting knocked around but are ready to go all-in on defeating the xenomorphs. The corporate guy is going to make things worse through both action and inaction, and we see how Batya's attempts at getting leverage are just going to get them possibly killed sooner. There's plenty to like here as it's well-executed, but it's also wonderfully illustrated with some great tension and forward momentum that works very well. The color design and detail all bind it together beautifully and makes you crave more. Read Full Review

An improvement over the previous issue but this new Alien series is one that is only as interesting as the carnage that it can show readers. Read Full Review

This one was a bit better than the last two, but not much happens. The base starts to explode, the husband escapes and gets the ship ready, while his pregnant wife, risks the lives of both children to get her notes that are written on paper. huh? Why are they are paper? If they were that valuable, why are they not on a thumbdrive around her neck? Meanwhile, the armed forces decide to go to war against the xenos, who are currently floating in frigid water beneath the ice. Again, can they live under there? I'm not sure.
So i don’t know how to feel about this series so far. I feel like its Aliens so what exactly do you expect out of it? Then on the other hand I feel as if nothing has really happened three issues in. There really hasn’t been any real developments in this issue.
So in this issue we have Weyland-Yutani people hunting the Alien in the base while the researchers are trying to get out. The mother gets reunited with her daughter and insists they need to go to the lab for some of their research and then escape. Of course everything doesn’t go well and they realize they are on a Xenomorph nest and the issue ends.
Like I said I love Alien and will always read all of the comics but it this one seems like just a gener more
Well I guess when you need to you just make up new rules for the Xenos. I mean breathing in space I guess even though the very first Aluen literally blew it out into space. I guess they just figured since it was fried it would have lived otherwise. Ok. I think the worst thing about the book is the dialogue. Man is it bad.
