The ending to this is solid and interesting but ultimately disappointing because I expected this five-issue series to be a complete story. I did not expect for there to be a sequel maybe? down the line and there being more of it so it's frustrating. What we do get here is just as fun as the previous issues with some amusing twists and nods back to the film and just how nuts this world is for these characters. The xenomorph action is fun and a bit lighter even though no less serious and the artwork handles the setting and characters well. It's all enjoyable but still left a bad taste in my mouth at the end because it feels a bit like a bait and switch. Read Full Review
This miniseries as a whole might make for an entertaining read for devout Aliens fans, yet won't appeal to many readers outside of that demographic. Perhaps this was a "What if?" that would have been left better off unanswered. Read Full Review

Burke and Brie go to the rescue of the workers who were trapped by the xenomorphs, even though their objective was to rescue Brie's mother from what Hiro Yutani is going to do... he is going to incubate a xenomorph in her comatose body. women.
This final chapter of this arc Burke has a new opportunity to redeem himself from his previous acts and save many people from the Aliens.
Burke's comments in this installment continue to be hilarious and sharp, it's the perfect balance of comedy in such stressful and terrifying circumstances.
Brilliant final episode that is left completely open and wanting to know more about Burke and Brie.

I enjoyed this whole series and the conclusion was up to expectations. If I had a complaint, it's that Reiser's voice is maybe a bit too apparent in the dialog. What I mean is that it doesn't read like it was written by a professional writer as much as an actor writing a comic for the first time. It's not jarring or overbearing though. Reiser's involvement was a net positive in my opinion, because despite that minor complaint I think the character felt more true to the source than it might have without him. The overall story was a great peek at an alternative future in one of the more popular film franchises of all time, or at least within the horror genre. Maybe a bit of wish fulfillment by the actor playing a character who in the momore
When this mini started, I really did not like it. Obviously, that's changed as the series has gone on. The character voices are exceedingly strong, the script is funny, if a bit basic, and I really wouldn't mind a sequel.
No, I'm sorry, I don't want to stomp all over anyone's enjoyment of this series but it's one of the worst things I've read in a long time. I mean this is literally MST3K level bad. The sitcom level of comedy was an enormous tonal mismatch with Aliens. But I'm not going to give it a low score because honestly its Golden Raspberry-ness entertained me 100x more than any of the endless number of Blood Hunt tie-ins released this year. I mean, Burke wakes up webbed to a wall in a scene right out of Giger Hell and his reaction is, "AGAIN with the...UGH...Like I haven't had enough already?!" and holy shit it's SO BAD but I am dying.
