    Comicosity - Aaron Long Mar 18, 2015

All-New Captain America #5 is an action packed thriller that keeps driving home that this is the new Captain America and that Sam Wilson is more than capable of holding this title. Remender and Immonen are on fire with this series so far and issue #5 is one of the best yet. Big action, surprisingly heavy emotional moments and some good ol' fashioned HYDRA smashing….can't ask for much more than that. Read Full Review

If you need proof that Rick Remender is aware of the criticisms lobbied against Sam Wilson becoming Captain America, the first page of this issue will do the trick. Remender continues to demonstrate Sam's worthiness both in word and deed. Read Full Review

Despite my reservations, issue #5 has me sad that "All-New Captain America" will end after the "Secret Wars" event. Remender writes Sam as a tough protagonist who's a pleasure to cheer for, and I hope we'll get to see more of him in the near future. Read Full Review

Comic Vine - Corey 'Undeadpool' Schroeder Mar 18, 2015

Its hard to believe this is only issue 5 as this story, and the characters in it, already feel so developed and evolved. Remenders done a fantastic job of writing memorable, stand-out moments and characters and the artists have rendered them fantastically as well, and this issues no exception. The plotline veers into coincidence and luck a little more than is probably healthy, but that hardly ruins what has been an intense, roughneck, deeply satisfying issue. Read Full Review
